“We cannot recommend Diana more highly! She was efficient and organised during the planning stage and her relaxed approach was such a joy on the day. It felt like a really nice balance of having lots of brilliant and creative ideas and asking for our thoughts and preferences as well as.

Considering neither of us are particularly keen on having our photos taken, we found it a really fun part of the day. We're delighted with the photos and will always treasure them.”

How much time do we need for a registry office wedding?

Two hours are usually perfect to capture your ceremony, confetti exit, a handful of group photos, and then a nice relaxed shoot with just the two of you nearby. If you’d like to visit different locations for your couple photos, or would like a few getting ready photos, or part of your celebrations covered, you can add an extra hours. We can have a chat through your plans and see what works best.

How do you work?

My work is very relaxed and candid, capturing your day as it unfolds, with a few informal group and couple photos thrown in. Much of the photography will happen in the background as you enjoy your day. For your couple photos, we go for a walk, we usually have a good laugh - I give you a little direction so you don’t have to worry about what to do - but it’s all very relaxed and non-posy, to make sure your photos are natural and reflect your own style. Depending on how many guests you are having, I’ll also ask you to make a list of any group or family photos beforehand, so we can get these done nice and efficiently.

We’ll have a video call before the day so you can let me know what’s most important to you, and to go over your exact timings and details. I’m always happy to share my experience of having photographed hundreds of weddings. I’ve put together a little wedding planning guide for smaller London weddings, which I’ll share with you, and you are welcome to email me with any questions about timings etc in the run up.

Location is super important to me, and I always make a plan for the best spots for your photos beforehand. I love working with London’s brilliantly varied architecture and going off the beaten track a bit, so your photos are always unique and don’t look like everyone else’s. Wherever in London you are getting married, don’t fear - there are great locations to be found everywhere.

How does the analogue photography bit work?

The majority of your photos will be digital, but I love shooting a bit of film alongside, especially black white. So for a 2 or 3 hour package, I usually shoot around 1 roll of film and you can expect to get digital previews of around 15-20 photos (allowing for a few duds!). You’ll be able to download the previews and you can order prints. They look particularly beautiful on fine art paper. More details about my 35 mm film photograph here.

Are you happy to be a witness at our elopement?

Yes! I’m more than happy to be one of your witneeses. You’ll need two witnesses in total, so you’ll still need to bring one other person.

How do we book? And can we have a chat before we decide?

I take a 25% deposit to secure your date, and the remaining fee is due two weeks before your wedding date. I’ll also ask you to please sign my contract. We’ll then arrange a time for a video chat so we can meet and discuss all the details. Absolutely. If you’d like to have a call before you decide to book - this is particularly helpful if you are not sure about how much time you need - I’ll be very happy to arrange. Just drop me an email and we can arrange a time.

“Diana was an absolute joy to have as part of our wedding day - she was completely professional, incredibly efficient and a warm and calming presence. She offers the perfect blend of giving great direction when needed, whilst also being completely discreet during more intimate moments such as the ceremony.

I really appreciated the pre-meet with Diana and I feel like she completely nailed 'the brief'. We have since received an unbelievable number of gorgeous photos and she achieved a brilliant blend of street style, natural candid moments, and a few traditional ones. She was a complete expert in the area around Marylebone Town Hall - if you are having a London wedding, I have no doubt you will be delighted by your experience of working with Diana.”
