Relaxed and family and newborn photo shoots in London
My family shoots are relaxed and informal. There’s no studio, no awkward posing or sitting still for very long.
We meet in your home, a local park, or your favourite outdoor spot around London and capture you and your kids doing what you love doing in professional, relaxed and creative photographs. I’m Ruislip, and available for sessions across West London and Buckinghamshire.
Family Shoots
Ideal for families with children of 4 months and older. Very relaxed lifestyle shoot either at your home, or a local park. I use a storytelling approach, capturing all the fun and spontaneous moments during our session, and we’ll mix in a few classic family photos too.
Included are:
- A 1 hour session at your home, local park or other outdoor location
- Unlimited number of high resolution digital photos to download
(usually 40-60 photos)
- a private online gallery to share with friends and family.

Available weekdays only
Newborn Shoots
Super relaxed baby led sessions, suitable for newborn babies of up to 2 months old. This session allows a little more time for feeding and comfort breaks in between photos. We’ll go at your pace and capture beautiful authentic moments of you and your new baby at home.
Included are:
- A relaxed session at hour home, usually lasting 1.5-2 hours.
- Unlimited number of high resolution digital photos to download
(usually 50-80 photos)
- no copyright restrictions for personal use
- a private online gallery to share with friends and family.
Cost: £550
Available weekdays only
All sessions include travel within West London, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire

HOW will the shoot WORK?
My sessions are very informal. On the day, we’ll allow plenty of time for everyone to relax and settle in. I will give you a little direction - it’s also a good idea to bring along a game or activity, and a favourite toy (especially if you’re kids are very young), so everyone forgets about the camera for while and you can just do what you love doing together. We’ll work together to create some beautiful, fun, natural memories. After the shoot, I’ll be in touch with your photos within 2 weeks. You’ll receive a an online gallery from where you can download your photos. There’s also a shop attached with a wide selection of beautiful print products, and you can order these directly via your gallery if you wish.
WHAT IF I OR MY CHILD GETS SICK AND I NEED TO RESCHEDULE?
No problem at all. Your session fee is transferable to another date, and we can reschedule.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Generally, the most important thing is to be comfortable, so I recommend wearing an outfit that you love, reflects your tastes and style, and that you can move around in easily. If your kids are quite young, your shoot will most likely be pretty active and energetic - we might sit on the grass or on tree stumps if we are outdoors, so I recommend going for something fairly casual that suits the setting. Similarly, if we are at your home, I would choose your favourite at-home outfit, rather than anything too formal, so your’e looking natural in your home environment. If you’re not sure, please feel free to ask, and I’m always happy to jump on a quick call for a chat.
CAN I MAKE MY OWN PRINTS?
Absolutely, the photos in your gallery will be available for high resolution download and you can print them as you wish. You are also welcome to to order from my online shop. I use a high quality professional lab, and can ensure that your photos are cropped correctly for different prints sizes and printed at the best quality.
How do I book?
Please drop me an email via the link below with your preferred date and location (I’m happy to help with location ideas if you are not sure) and a few details about the kind of shoot you are looking for. Once we have agreed on a date and location for your shoot, I’ll email you an invoice with your booking details. I take a £100 deposit to book in a date for you (this is transferable to another date if we need to postpone for any reason). The remaining payment is due on the day of your shoot.
