Emily & Adrien's wedding at Mudbrick, Waiheke

Mudbrick wedding photography at the Lodge

Having travelled all the way around the globe, I was not expecting to see a vintage London routemaster feature in a Waiheke wedding day. But that’s exactly what Emily and Adrien found and booked for their beautiful summer wedding at the Lodge at Mudbrick Vineyard.

The original 1960s London bus took us from the resort where Emily was getting ready up to the vineyard, stuttering and very slow, but it was great fun and what a stylish entrance of the bride.

Emily and Adrien’s wedding took place outside the Lodge and the weather absolutely perfect. A bit of welcome cloud cover made for perfect lighting during their couple photos and we were rewarded with a perfect sunset at dinner time.
