My style of photography is natural, warm, vibrant and creative. It's all about telling the story of your wedding day, including all the big and little moments, laughter, tears, craziness and funny little details in between. There'll be times during your wedding day when you won't see much of me as I'll be capturing all that's going on from afar.  At other times I'll give you a little more direction, but it's all very relaxed, and usually fun! Don't worry if you are a bit camera shy, the vast majority of couples I work with are.

I’m super organised, will visit your venue and locations beforehand and work with your MC on the day to make sure I know exactly what’s happening when. We’d also meet before your wedding day to have a chat about your plans and the kind of photos you like best, so I can capture your day in a way that’s perfect for you. All sounds good? Here are my packages and prices.

How much experience do you have?

I'm a full-time wedding photographer, and weddings are what I know, love and do best! Over the last 4 years I have photographed around 120 weddings which has taught me a thing or two. For example that no two weddings are the same, and that preparation is key. I always prepare meticulously for every wedding, visit venues beforehand and have an exact plan of what we are going to do, to ensure your day can run smoothly.

What equipment do you use?

I use professional Canon equipment and have a wide selection of lenses, so can capture a range of different focal lengths, no matter how small or large your venue is. I also carry lighting for darker venues, as well as backup equipment, so there's no need to worry about any technical failures on the day.

Do you travel?

Absolutely. I love exploring and shooting in new locations. I spend a couple of months in New Zealand most years and am also often in Germany, where I have family. So depending on your wedding date, I may not charge travel costs in these two countries. I'm also more than happy to travel worldwide and especially around Europe and the UK.

How many photos will I get?

I don't cap the number of photos you receive, and the final number depends on your wedding, how many guests you have, and the format of your day. Usually, you can expect to receive between 500-700 photos for 8-10 hour coverage, and 200 -500 for the shorter packages.

How soon will I get my photos?

You'll receive a sneak peek preview within 48 hours of your wedding, which includes around 15-20 photos, so you'll have a few together you started. I edit all your photos individually, and this take a little bit of time to make sure they are perfect. You'll receive all your photos within 6 weeks, and often much quicker than that, especially during low season.

SHOULD I BOOK ONE OR TWO PHOTOGRAPHERS?

It's entirely up to you. I usually recommend getting a second photographer if you'd like photos of the boys getting ready, as well as the bride, or if  you have more than 100 guests and are keen to get lots of candid shots of your guests. You will receive more photographs if you book 2 photographers and we are able to capture more angles, which is particularly helpful during the ceremony.

Are you insured?

Yes, I have equipment and public liability insurance.

How and when to book

If you are getting married on a weekend between April and October, I suggest you book at least 12 months in advance, as I tend to get booked up quickly during these busy months. Otherwise, as soon as possible really. Once you sent in your booking form and paid your deposit, your date is all yours.

Can we have a chat before we book?

Absolutely! I would love to meet with you and hear more about your plans for the big day. I'm happy to show you a bit more of my work too, and we can both make sure that we're a good fit for each other.
